The HTML form generated by PreferencesPlugin is broken due to the preference within verbatim. Thus one can't save or cancel the preference changes. 

   * Set MYPREF = breaks everything

Quick edit of existing preferences (edit the topic text to set new preferences)

  • Set MYPREF1 = val1
  • Set MYPREF2 = val2

Should PreferencesPlugin just ignore preferences within verbatim?

Yes, I think it should ignore preferences within verbatim. Confirmed.
