Installed Perl Module not showing up in configure

I have Foswiki 1.1.4 RC2 installed. I want to enable LDAP authentication. I have installed the Net::LDAP module on my Ubuntu server. However, this module does not show up on the 'configure' page. Does this mean that Foswiki cannot see it?

Foswiki doesn't look for the LDAP modules. That is part of the LdapContrib, and/or LdapNgPlugin. Those plugins will report any dependency issues when they are installed. Foswiki doesn't contain LDAP support in the core release. It's added with extensions.
