so I'm going to hide the shipped ones behind a SkinTemplateViewTemplate.

commited in case someone has ideas on making it better - i'd love to show a docco that comes from the topic, but that then adds much more complexity.

perhaps a pattern SEARCH that extracts up to the first %TMPL ?
