May I suggest pursuing, when appropriate, an interview request on FLOSS Weekly, http://twit.tv/FLOSS With Randal Schwartz and Leo Laporte.

They’re always looking for OpenSource stories to tell, and you'll certainly at no cost, get a ton of ears and eyes on the Fork project.

And obviously Randal is likely to have a soft spot for something PERL related. Randal takes interview scheduling requests at merlyn@stonehenge.com Weekly slots are booked up until Dec 3 currently so likely good to get a request in early: Interviews in the queue: http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=pYAJMbVobYCTro_z4LGo3ZQ

Craig: Cool. Could you organize that? -- MartinSeibert - 30 Nov 2008

I can if resources are scarce. I'm not sure I have enough insight into who on the Dev team has enough sense of the history, time available for an interview in the Pacific Time Zone, and a face for radio wink But if you want to give me some short list names, otherwise I can put out a query on the Mailing list.

I have submitted an application:

Betreff: Foswiki on FLOSS Weekly?

Dear Sirs,

my Name is Martin Seibert. I am a member of the Foswiki community and responsible for marketing of the open source project. It would be both a very big honor and a big opportunity to present our Free and Open Source Wiki (Foswiki) on your "show".

It is a perl based wiki fork of TWiki and is supported by 99% of the former TWiki developers.

A lot of information about Foswiki is available on our website and on wikipedia:
http://www.foswiki.org/
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foswiki

I would love to hear from you and have an interview with you. I will also happily help you to get other Foswiki community members to be available for an interview.

Best regards

Martin Seibert
Head of Marketing for the Foswiki Community

Unfortunately I did not get a response to that mail yet. -- MartinSeibert - 23 Sep 2009

Hi Randal,

thanks for your answer to the Foswiki community. For your interview I would like to suggest the following three people:

- Crawford Currie (cc@c-dot.co.uk, +44-1606-330-242) is one of our lead developers. He knows the system and its perl structure inside out.
- Kenneth Lavrsen (kenneth@lavrsen.dk, ???) is the release manager. He knows the community very well and is our respected force, making the project thrive.
- Martin Seibert (mseibert@seibert-media.net, +49 611 2057020), that's me. I am responsible for marketing for the Foswiki community.

Please add us three to your list. We will be happy and honored to have an interview with you.

Kenneth: Please send your phone number to randal also.

Best regards

Martin Seibert
