Graphviz dot doesn't seem to honor the GV_FILE_PATH environment variable unless the SERVER_NAME environment variable is also set. Under mod_perl, SERVER_NAME is not set so dot can't find the shapefiles to properly render the Simple LAN setup (custom icons / shapefiles) example.

Just setting $ENV['SERVER_NAME'] to something in the DirectedGraphPlugin.pl script keeps dot happy since I don't think the value is actually used by dot for anything.
