Hi Sven,

TimelinePlugin rocks - but breaks (chart with no entries) if given a couple of things:
  • $pattern(.*?[!+ ]+([^\n\r]+).*) in it (eg, give me the topic heading). Presumably this is caused by the [ ] characters.
  • $summary(50). I'm assuming newlines kill it. This is probably asking a lot, but the point above would be nice.

It does work with $formfield().

You're getting perilously close to the Holy Grail... Gantt charts! Well, not quite, but enough maybe to make Gantt aficionados go "oooh...", or at least not walk away in disgust. TimelinePlugin is some nice bling-bling.

Don't suppose it supports start and end times...?

PS: Foswiki 1.0.8 + TLP latest as at this date.

tossing on my too big stack smile I wonder why the pattern dies - that is unexpected

gantt charts are really part of where this was heading smile
