Meta::renderFormFieldForDisplay() level, but those perform correctly, so this problem must be happening higher up...

I cannot reproduce this problem.
I have tried both trunk and Release branch and a text field with value 0 is displayed as 0
Are you talking about the FORMFIELD macro or is it somewhere else?
