Item8413: Chrome TinyMCE copy/paste spreadsheet bug
Priority: Normal
Current State: Closed
Released In: 1.1.0
Target Release: minor
When pasting more than one cell from Office 2007 on Vista into the
TinyMCE editor in
FosWiki 1.0.9, the behavior is not consistent between web browsers.
Using Firefox 3.5.7 on vista it works as expecting and produces a cleanly formed table.
Using Chrome 3.0.195.38 or 4 on vista it simply omits the beginning and ending table tags. All the internal tags for tables such as td and tr seem to be properly formed, and simply adding the table and ending table tags seem to be an possible work around for the time being.

Hi Joseph,
I wonder if you have time to test this bug with the latest version of
TinyMCEPlugin. Try
http://trunk.foswiki.org/Sandbox.
Even better, see if you can reproduce at
http://tinymce.moxiecode.com/examples/full.php and
report it with the TinyMCE project.
If you get time to do this I would be eternally grateful - it would also free up some of my time to improve our Foswiki integration of this editor

This was fixed in 1.10 sorry for the delay in my reply.
I had honestly forgotten my username (only figured it out because it is on this page) and when the password reset page did not have an option to get me my username I moved on to my other responsibilities.
