Item8382: WYSIWYG_PROTECTED and _STICKY show up as tiny in Safari
Priority: Low
Current State: No Action Required
Released In: n/a
Target Release:
The 12pt Courier New setting in pub/System/TinyMCEPlugin/wysiwyg_src.css tends to make the .WYSIWYG_PROTECTED .WYSIWYG_STICKY tags look really small compared to the rest of the text in Safari under various versions of OS X. As I recall this is related to how OS X tries to overcompensate for defaulting to 72dpi vs 96dpi on Windows.

Double checked and they show up smaller everyone where. Something about Safari's color/antialiasing/font-rendering is more jaring to my eye but it's very subjective.

Reproduced the behaviour on Safari 4.0.4 under
MacOS 10.5.8. Firefox 3.6 on the same machine works fine.
I have observed under some circumstances the LITERAL or typewriter text shows up much bigger than the rest of the text, probably on Iceweasel 3.0.12

Perhaps a Safari user would like to address this.
