Item627: misc. favicons and badge/logo images are out of sync

While the favicon displayed for topics now shows FW (for trunk, not beta2), badge.gif in the footer and the favicon displayed while using configure still shows another (hand-drawn) logo which IMHO resembles a mixture between a fish and a ship's propeller... this should be unified (and yes, I prefer the much-cleaner looking (FW) FOSWIKI image).

i had already updated http://svn.foswiki.org/trunk/core/pub/System/ProjectLogos/favicon.ico with the (FW) favicon which should appear correctly in beta3 (sorry, don't have a checkin number handy)

• ah, but i found that configure has its own favicon.ico

both of these sets of logo "styles" are placeholders---not sure how to proceed...

According to BrandLogo, the interim logo is the FW one. MartinSeibert attempted to get a mandate for his company to create a logo -- on the BrandLogo page, he seems to have received the number of supporting voices he was looking for. Not sure if this is a sufficient process to set a mandate, though. Also see Item122. -- IsaacLin - 02 Jan 2009
