Jump to non-existing topic results in blank page
Try and put a
WikiWord in the Jump field of a topic that does not exist.
Result is a blank page instead of the page that allows to create the new topic or search for similar.

This is why we should not break the feature freeze! Dammit.

Erm, no it isn't. I get the "Create New Topic" page.
Can you be more specific about what you did? And what, if any, errors are reported in your Apache error log? And whether you have asserts on? And your locale, since that was causing problems?

It was a red herring.
In my Myweb
WebHome I had for some time ago edited in the standard text at the bottom and by accident deleted a /form.
This resulted in this form to extend to include the Jump form. The result was that when you hit Jump you submit the wrong data.
Still wonder why the result is a blank page and not an error screen.
So there is a bug.
Here is a test URL
http://merlin.lavrsen.dk/trunk/bin/search/Myweb/?search=
This ends in blank screen
http://merlin.lavrsen.dk/trunk/bin/search/Myweb/?search=Rasmussen
ends in correct search results.
I guess somewhere in the code a little || '' is missing.
Lowering to normal. Changing the title
And so noone feels bad about last days work, this bug is also in TWiki 4.2.4
nice. I've found where this problem happens, and will set
SEARCH{} back to returning an empty result set - both query and normal search currently die.
