NEW

  • Doc request: After manually installing the BugsContrib into an existing web with a different name, I'm wondering what is the "correct" way to do this? I notice that in some places "Bugs." is hardcoded into the topic text, while other places INCLUDINGWEB or WEB macros are used. Is the idea that BugsContrib is installed in the (default) Bugs web, and that its topics are then included in the other web where it is desired to track bugs or tasks etc? -- EliotBlennerhassett - 14 Apr 2009
  • In my install I changed the created page name to TaskXXXXXX? , and I wonder if this can be parameterised through a preference variable eg Bug or Item or Task or Issue. Also would apply to "Open Tasks for X" etc. -- EliotBlennerhassett - 14 Apr 2009
  • there are some dangling references to formfield(Component) - this field is not defined in the dataform -- EliotBlennerhassett - 14 Apr 2009
  • Put this into Tabulator format first field to provide an edit icon next to each item:
     [[$web.$topic][$topic]] [[%SCRIPTURL{edit}%/$web.$topic][ $percntICON{edittopic}$percnt]]

DEFERRED to the next update of BugsContrib.

  • It's great that you can configure WebRss so that it states the Item Nr, the summary and the state. Would be great to have this in notifucation e-mail as well...
  • I added an Assigned field to the item to track the wiki user assigned to handle the issue. This required changes to the Tabulator.txt
  • use query SEARCH but fall back to 4.0 regex when needed

DONE - 22 jan 2009

  • I now want to create a topic that will list all the items assigned to a particular person. (already implemented at some point---Bugs.MyItems contains a field to enter a new name -- WillNorris - 22 Jan 2009
  • use SYSTEMWEB and USERSWEB -- WillNorris - 22 Jan 2009
  • added pages from here for bugs by priority (ReleaseBlockers.txt ReleaseNormals.txt ReleaseLows.txt) -- WillNorris - 22 Jan 2009

DONE - uploaded 1 nov 2007

  • set NEWTOPIC to XXXXXXXXXX as that works on all versions
  • change the Add New Item link from '%!SCRIPTURL%/edit/%!INCLUDINGWEB%...' to '%!SCRIPTURL{edit}%/%!INCLUDINGWEB%...'
  • remove the %!SCRIPTSUFFIX% tags from each of the bug status page links (otherwise the links came out with 'view.pl.pl')
  • Checking dependency on #PatternSkin.... * BugsContrib? depends on twiki package #PatternSkin >=1000 which is described as "Pattern skin" But when I tried to find it I got this error: Module is type twiki, and cannot be automatically checked. Please check it manually and install if necessary
  • I have a fix for this. Edit the Tabulator page and search for the line containing /font. Then replace the line before this line with
| %IF{"%CALC{$ROW()}%='1'" then='<span style="background : #808080;"> %WHITE% No entries found matching your query %ENDCOLOR% </span>' else="Summary"}%  | | %IF{"%CALC{$ROW()}%='1'" then="" else="%CALC{"$COUNTITEMS( R2:C$COLUMN()..R$ROW(-1):C$COLUMN() )"}%"}% | %IF{"%CALC{$ROW()}%='1'" then="" else="%CALC{"$COUNTITEMS( R2:C$COLUMN()..R$ROW(-1):C$COLUMN() )"}%"}% | %IF{"%CALC{$ROW()}%='1'" then="" else="%CALC{"$COUNTITEMS( R2:C$COLUMN()..R$ROW(-1):C$COLUMN() )"}%"}% | | |

scrapped

  • need to find a way to conditionally set TWikiVariables (not for this anymore)
    • set WebPreferences.NEWTOPIC to AUTOINC1 or XXXXXXXXXX conditionally depanding on version / support
  • abstract out the TWikiDocGraphics references to make those themeable - Item828

I'm going to try to make it 4.0, 4.1 and 4.2 compatible, while using query SEARCH in 4.2

  • of course, there's no need for that anymore... -- WillNorris - 22 Jan 2009
