NatEditContrib uses DIVs to help do some simple text formatting e.g. centering of text.

TinyMCEPlugin now replaces all DIVs with Ps.

This may be confusing and annoying on sites that have content written with NatEditContrib.

Agreed; but DIVs are a source of major pain when importing HTML from external sources, which is why i converted them to P's (which are at least a TML concept). I don't think any TWiki tool should assume any HTML, and as such the NatEditContrib should not be using DIV.

Ah, no. Opening and closing Ps insert extra space, not so DIVs. If I want to center some text, I might not want the extra space.

Ps are much better from a typographic POV.
