It appears that the Topic level preferences are unaware of revision levels and preferences are always read from the most current revision of a topic. This behavior is not necessarily intuitive and should be clearly documented in the AccessControl topic.

The below setting was originally set to 123 in the first revision of this topic. It changed in a later revision. Note that viewing older revisions of this report will always show the latest revision.

  • Set MYPREF = 456

%MYPREF% is set to 456

As any change in this implementation could have significant implications, this probably should only be addressed with clear documentation.
