Item2207: would be nice if configure gave a little info wrt dependencies for things

not just listing the DEP's beside the Plugins that are not enabled - to show the admin why they should not enable it,

but

more importantly for the FoswikiCache . an admin can kill his site by ticking 'enable cache' - and it really would be useful to tell them before they do it, what is there - so they could choose which cache backend, if any might have a chance of working.

This is mostly fixed in 1.2, The Enable cache issue is fixed. Foswiki will flag an error if the selected cache mechanism is not installed.

And for extensions, it's not done in the extension list, but the "Audit" will dep check all extensions.
