The problem is not solved in 1.0.6. As the attachment obove points out - the problem was not in 1.0.0 like foswiki.org (why not the actual release?
Also not in the trunc-foswiki.
What cat I do - it doesnt work with or without modperl. I have tested with the file sise and saw:
-rw-r--r-- 1 fischer urz 11113368 23. Jun 08:25 T2
-rw-r--r-- 1 fischer urz 12226599 23. Jun 08:27 T3
T2 could be attached - T3 goes to the described error -> blank page and the 2 lines in the error.log
The problem becomes painful for me so I put the prority to Urgent ...

The problem is probably due to your running out of disc space (possibly in /tmp), or the apache process timing out. I doubt it's anything to do with Foswiki
per se, more likely to be your web server configuration.
FYI I don't have any problem uploading a file that size.

Günther, could you run
grep -r 'viewerror'
to see where the reference to
.../bin/viewerror
comes from in the first place? Are you using any 'non-default' Foswiki plugins and/or web server modules which possibly affect the upload process (virus scanners, intrusion detection engines, etc)?

I think I found an error on my side, so I take priority to low. I will report later. Thanks to Crawford and Markus.

Oh terrible - I changed from
RcsLite to
RcsWrap and no further problems with attach files and delete attachments.
So I think there is a serios problem with
RcsLite and attach - I change the priority back to normal.
Can anybody try modperl,
RcsLite and attach big files to reproduce the problem. I can stay with the situation but I think its a real problem.

I really don't think anyone is going to spend time on this. Binning it.
