/bin/diff on a Wiki page (topic) doesn't show details, just empty blocks.

Only if you add ?skin=pattern to the URL then compare does its work.

Sure, of course, as it does its work with the Pattern Skin or the parameter ?skin?pattern at the end of the URL.
