Item1487: Preview doesn't work (FoswikiSiteSkin)

today was the first time that i used "Preview" on this site. after clicking the preview button, i was presented with a page that had the following characteristics:

1. top button toolbar still displayed and active
2. Rev. info showed "(Rev. 0)"
3. no preview background
4. no save button (or return to edit or whatever)

I am using foswiki 1.0.5 (and previously 1.0.4) and don't have a problem with the preview option in foswikisite skin. It is based on the pattern skin, tho' -- when you have set the skin, did you default to pattern after foswikisite?

For example,

Set SKIN = foswikisite,pattern

i don't understand how this could be resolved by Item906, but in any case, it still happens on this site. so, changing scope to website, and perhaps this is now just a subset of Item1175

looks great now, probably fixed with the upgrade of the site to 1.0.6. closing.
