Hi, in our foswiki 2.0.3 mod_cgi, utf-8 store in foswiki and file-system FileAttachment: upload, view, dowload of umlaut-files like bücher.txt is o.k. But the generated filename with upload-option "Create a link to the attached file" is wrong. In the filename there are utf-8 codings %c3%bc for german 'ü'. Same with attachmentListPlugin.

Are users or the Foswiki server running on OSX? We are working on some changes resolve Unicode normalization issues when OSX is involved.

Yes, I use sometimes my Mac to use our foswiki (running on linux ubuntu 14.04 locale utf-8) I tried it now on Windows7 - no problems with uploading and displaying umlaut-files! Thanks!

Marking this as waiting for release so it hits the release notes. Actually fixed in 2.1, under Item13405 - unicode normalization.
