Item13694: EditRowPlugin makes initsort fail in some cases
Priority: Urgent
Current State: No Action Required

This is the test case from
TestCases web that tests that initsort works with the two table plugins.
Originally made for
EditTablePlugin and it works fine with this.
But with
EditRowPlugin the table plugin seems more or less disabled. I think it is macro order related

I do not think this is a real bug. It is just a symptom of
Item13692. The EDITTABLE macro before the TABLE triggers both problems. So fix 13692 first. Then I am sure this bug will disappear

Firstly, I get a crash in EditTablePlugin when I view this example with 2.0 + ETP - ERP
Secondly, when I fix ETP, I see exactly the same behaviour as shown by ERP viz. the first table is sorted by column 2, and the second is sorted by column 3.
Note that
initsort
is handled by TablePlugin. Perhaps this report should be directed there?

I tested the above test case with
EditTablePlugin enabled and
EditRowPlugin disabled. And there is no crashes.
And since I did the original tests I have converted the site to UTF-8. And still ETP works great.
The initsort issue that was also reported here is now manifesting itself in new ways. The real issue for this one was that ERP killed off TABLE tags. Now it craps out even worse and I have raised several bug items today that covers all the different cases well. I am closing this one and letting the other Items raised track the initsort to closure.

It was showing up on the "Known issues of 2.0.2" search as an urgent issue, but closed. Tasks should be set to "No Action" if they have been replaced by other tasks.
