The extensions appear to sort alphabetically, but in two groups: Plugins in alphabetical order, followed by Contribs in alphabetical order.

Is this still a regression, or can we close this?

Regression. Please, can we simply sort extensions alphabetically no matter whether they are of type contrib, plugin or addon? Thanks.
