The FindElsewherePlugin has stopped respecting NOAUTOLINK

It works with the <noautolink> tags around.

This is a huge problem in many of our applications where things like mailto features and other things where the name is used raw and the added squarebracketet links mess up everything.

That support was deliberately removed.

I will add it again. It is obvious to me that if someone sets NOAUTOLINK then they do not want this plugin to autolink IF the topic happens to exist in another web. And it makes no sense that the bracket feature is still working. This was a mistake

For the record. I have the code ready to go. I will wait a day to hear any objections. If there are really good arguments then we need a plugin option to respect or not respect NOAUTOLINK.

This was removed in commit FindElsewherePlugin:e2c7c37 Comments seem to indicate it was believed to be a NOP.

Sound somewhat familiar, see Item10949.

Andre - familiar but not related. The FindElsewherePlugin changes all WikiWords to [[Web.Topicname][Topicname]] format IF the topic can be found in a list of predefined webs. People typically use it to autolink wikinames to Main. And the plugin is supposed to check if NOAUTOLINK is set.

When you include a topic you do not get the macros from the included topic evaluated as macros.
