In http://foswiki.org/System/DataForms#Name, last but one dot reads:

 If you want the Field name to include embedded spaces, use the format [<nop>[FieldName][Descriptive human-friendly Field Name]].

The <nop> tag in...: [<nop>[FieldName][Descriptive human-friendly Field Name]]

...shouldn't be there or shouldn't be shown, because the correct sintax for this to work is: [[FieldName][Descriptive human-friendly Field Name]].

Actually, the syntax you describe does not work either. The ability to define "Descriptive human-friendly Field Name" using double-brakets does not work. See Item12090
