Hi, I'm currently in the process of migration from TWiki 4.1.1 on RHEL4 to Foswiki 1.0.1 (packages windows installer with strawberry perl and apache) on Win2003. We use the TreePlugin extensively . I've installed this plugin in Foswiki and it appears to be working correctly. The TreePlugin generates SEARCH requests in order to display the requested topics. If i switch debug mode on for the TreePlugin i can see the following search request being genrated in the debug log . e.g

nop

If i copy the above and paste it into a wiki topic i find that i the search will run successfully for up to 182 topic's but not more than that.
I believe there are known issues with Forking search under Strawberry perl. Try PurePerl or Native search, and see if it makes a difference.

Thanks for your reply Crawford Yes i am now using PurePerl and it's working abeit slowly. I'm trying to install FastCGI and use NativeSearch but am currently running up against this issue http://foswiki.org/Support/Question89
OK. Well, I don't know what code you are using but line 319 of Engine.pm has no string eq on it that I can see, so I suggest you reproduce the problem on 1.0.4 and ping Gilmar Santos.
