Under Firefox 5, any attempt to edit a page results in the browser hanging while trying to present the wysiwyg page. If the page is new, and contains any markers, any attempt to save it hangs Firefox 5.

Sorry, I cannot reproduce using Firefox 6.0 or Firefox 5.0.1.

I'm not sure what you mean by "markers".

I have been able to create new pages containing bullets, headings, tables, images, styles, verbatim, blockquotes... Can you please provide the exact topic text (raw mode) which reliably reproduces the problem?

Also, are there any error logs on the server - foswiki's error.log, webserver logs? What is your server environment - OS version, perl version, apache, mod_perl/mod_fcgid?

If you're feeling adventurous, I've uploaded a testing release which includes the latest TinyMCE 3.3.4 from moxiecode.

Can you check if there are any javascript errors when the fault occurs, using Firebug add-on?

My mistake, a change in the firewall caused the REST interface used by TynyMCEPlugin to be blocked. Issue was resolved by modifying the firewall rules.

Thank you for the prompt feedback, even if it ends up being a No Action. At least it prompted me to update TinyMCEPlugin smile
