you have to close and reopen the twisties to see the facets

next refresh they're open but blank again.

Which skin are you using? Any javascript error on the page? Are you running IE8 in compatibility mode or in normal mode?

A screenshot would help.

ie8 in whatever it does - the users don't know what the coma-tatibility mode is, so don't use it

js error - dunno - I'll get back to you when i find out more.

Here are two screenshots, one of the initial page and the second after closing and re-opening the twisties.

Btw, it only happens in compatibility mode (which seems to be the default for intranet sites). In true IE8 mode as well as in IE7 mode (emulated in IE8) it's OK and looks a lot better (not the bloated view as shown above on the right).
