Now you either:

for new topics first create a topic template, set the view template to that template, then use templatetopic when creating the new topic
for existing topics: go to More -> Settings -> type in the variable Set VIEW_TEMPLATE and save

Setting a template view template should be a parameter of edit and save.

this may not be necessary - AddMetaSetActionToEditAndSave might give this functionality without the need to add yet another hardcoded urlparam.

The SetVariablePlugin appears to do what is needed. setting this to no action
