Hi, I got somtimes a "var full" problem with foswiki. It looks like an unlink without an close. So the storrage will be hold as long as the httpd lives.

lsof /mnt/wiki|grep tmp (/usr/tmp goes to /mnt/wiki/tmp) httpd 18892 apache 23u REG 8,17 400372 11059208 /mnt/wiki/tmp/CGItemp8038 (deleted) httpd 25592 apache 23u REG 8,17 1437028 11059209 /mnt/wiki/tmp/CGItemp8064 (deleted)

A httpd-server restart will solve the problem.

George, I know you've been furtling this recently.... any comment?

-- CrawfordCurrie - 15 Jun 2015

I'm not seeing this happening at all. checked tmp directories on foswiki.org, and they are clean. 1.1.2 is very old code. And in addition, CGI has completely reworked temp file handling.

GuentherFischer, have you updated to newer foswiki and/or CGI and are you still observing this issue?

-- GeorgeClark - 15 Jun 2015

Oh... but use caution. Latest versions of CGI have some compatibility issues with older Foswiki.

Setting to No Action. No further reports.
