EditChaperPlugin and Foswiki 1.1.3 config

I am currently evaluating Foswiki 1.1.3 ( we currently use 1.0.9 ) . I am having problems getting

EditChapterPlugin to work. After having installed the recommended dependencies ( JSON perl modules )

it is still not possible to edit chapters. Initially I got a "JSON undefined" javascript error. I then copied

json.js into jquery-jsonrpc.js so that at least json is defined but now have 'exception thrown but not caught'

coming from jquery-1.4.3.js.

I am unfamiliar with the requirements of json since I don't actively use it other than in Foswiki.

Might my problems be caused by:

my perl setup

my apache server config

?

You really should not need to copy/paste javascript files. Something else is going wrong. I know that there is a new version of EditChapterPlugin waiting for 1.1.4 to release.

How did you install - using tarball, and Foswiki extension installer, or using debian packages.I believe there were some dependency issues with the .deb files - not sure though, as I don't use them.

Any other info much appreciated.

Thanks.

Please upgrade to the latest EditChapterPlugin - released today. Release:4.31 Version:14611 (2012-04-16) It resolves several issues with dependencies and javascript that were preventing it from working when installed on a base Foswiki using PatternSkin. This new version has been tested on a "default install" of 1.1.3, 1.1.4 and 1.1.5, with and without NatEditPlugin.

Note. 1.1.3 users! The newer versions of JQueryPlugin expose an error in Configure which will prevent the configuration from being saved. Tasks.Item11136. Install a new lib/Foswiki/Configure/Valuer.pm to resolve.
