This question about Configuration: Answered but needs rewriting

Where is the WYSIWYG editor's CSS?

For our installation, I've successfully edited the colors and background colors according to the PatternSkinCssCookbook, mostly for heading styles. But apparently the editor uses a different CSS file because it still has the original look. I was looking in /pub/System/TinyMCEPlugin but the CSS files there don't contain any directives regarding headings.

How can I add custom styles to override the default styles of the editor? Or, if the editor doesn't handle customizations as elegantly as Foswiki itself, then where can I find the editor's CSS file?

Answer

it would seem that the plugin takes its style definitions directly from /pub/System/PatternSkin/colors.css so in order to fix the heading styles in the editor, I would need to change the original PatternSkin CSS files.

Kind of defeats the purpose of having site-specific CSS in the first place, though...? Sadly, that means I can delete the custom CSS file I made.
