ACP throws a "Bad Request: GET denied for save"

When following the instructions for altering PatternSkin colors, on:

Foswiki/bin/view/System/PatternSkinColorSettings

Pressing the button on Step 3 yields the dreaded

Bad Request: GET denied for save

The plugin documentation topic needs some work. The link "Update user data XML" issues a "save" using a browser GET (ie clicking a link), which is now restricted to prevent certain browser attacks. The only way to issue a save is by using a form that issues a POST type request.

The plugin does seem to be working other than the example. The purpose of the example is to cause a topic save to update the attachment. The same effect can be accomplished by going through an edit/save cycle.

A new version (2.3.2) of AttachContentPlugin has been uploaded to Foswiki.org. The example has been corrected, and the documentation updated to show how to implement a save button, avoiding the GET denied for save error.

Note that as you reported, the same issue exists in PatternSkin. It has been fixed in the unreleased version of PatternSkin and will be picked up in Foswiki 1.1 and 1.0.10.
