How to setup autolink for Item1234 with AliasPlugin and BugsContrib

I would like to make all Items in my Bugs web autolinked from other webs. Using FindElsewherePlugin, AliasPlugin with BugsContrib seems to be the correct set of tools; however, I have not been successful creating an entry in my WebAlias topic that works. What would you do?

I can not figure out the correct Perl expression to use with the AliasPlugin

Take a look at the ControlWikiWordPlugin. It can use a regular expression rule to match topics like Item1234 The sample rules include matching for Bug items, Questions and FAQs.
