Install SendEmailPlugin on FoswikiOnAStick

I am testing Foswiki to see if it fits for our company.

Now I want to install then SendEmailPlugin on FoswikiOnAStick 1.0.9

I tried the following...

Plugin Installation Instructions

You do not need to install anything in the browser to use this extension. The following instructions are for the administrator who installs the extension on the server.

Open configure, and open the "Extensions" section. Use "Find More Extensions" to get a list of available extensions. Select "Install".

If you have any problems, or if the extension isn't available in configure, then you can still install manually from the command-line. See http://foswiki.org/Support/ManuallyInstallingExtensions for more help.



Select "Install" is not available !

...and for Manually Install, I need SendEmailPlugin.zip to copy to the stick ?

where do I get it ?

There should be an 'Install' button on the configure extension installer screen - I'm almost positive i tested installing via configure when I released it.

basically - click on the 'fos' systray icon, in the menu there is a 'configure' option. from there, goto the Extensions section etc..

I'll add a few screen grabs tomorrow just to make sure.

When I first tried to install the plugin, I could see the table like in the screenshot but without the Install-Botton !!!

Then I noticed that my FoswikiOnaStick does not know my gateway.

So I looked in configure and found some {SMTP} variables.

Now I can run Install ...

...but again without success.

Error: Failed to move file 'bin/sendemail' to F:\foswikibin/sendemail: No such file or directory

Software error:

Installation terminated at F:/foswiki/lib/Foswiki/Configure/UIs/EXTEND.pm line 139.

there is no /foswikibin/!!! but /foswiki/bin

To see if other plugins can be installed, I tested SetVariablePlugin, and it was ok !

So I think the installer of SendEmailPlugin has mistakes.

ok, yes, that is very weird. I'll take a quick look soonish (turns out I havn't been at my computer all day.
