Add custom fields to hits in blog entry search

Is there an easy way to customize the results displayed for each hit in solrsearchview? The solrsearch feature of foswiki is fantastic for filtering down using facets to the find the right page. It is one of the most powerful feature of the wiki. In the case of blog entries a custom template is used to display results, which is defined in BlogSearchViewTemplate in the Blog-App. At the bottom of this template there is a section specifically for BlogEntry hits. Several specific fields are referenced like the {{:title}} and {{:field_Category_flat_lst}}, however the options do not extend to formfields specific to each topic type.

Is there a way to add fields to these templates from custom form definitions that might be attached to other topics? Or would this involve a lot of changes.

An alternative would be the ability to use a DBCALL to render a template for topics. However, when I tried to do this the macro didn't work properly because the {{:web}} and {{:topic}} were not properly passed through. Any hints or suggestions would be very much appreciated.
