Cannot use EXCEL2TABLE plugin

It just displays the content i add in the edit tag the function dosnt work eg -%EXCEL2TABLE{"test"}%

i cannot use the function it just displays the plugin name in the page like ex - %EXCEL2TABLE{"test"}%
