Backend Perl error from EDITTABLE

I updated to FW 1.1.9 recently and now I'm getting a strange backend error from EditTable when I try to save. 

Foswiki detected an internal error - please check your Foswiki logs and webserver logs for more information.

Can't call method "param" on an undefined value

I deleted the lib/.../EditTablePlugin directory and lib/.../EditTablePlugin and reinstalled and still see this error.

Suggestions very welcome.

After a chat in IRC and more testing, I can reproduce this issue on foswiki.org. I have filed Tasks/Item12815.

I have a workaround (the issue is triggered by a silly bug in the TML code). But someone might want to look into EditTable and see if there's a good way to prevent that silly bug from having such peculiar (and recursive) effects.
