Use Foswiki as ffmpeg frontend
I would like to use Foswiki as a frontend for ffmpeg.
Since it is possible to call Perl scripts (as mentioned in
CommandAndCGIScripts), I guess it should be also possible to call any shell command.
Could you tell me:
- if there any example of calling shell scripts from Foswiki in documentation?
- how can I implement attaching/uploading file and get it's name (so that I will be able to redirect it to the ffmpeg)

If I'm not mistaken, Foswiki does not allow for directly calling arbitrary shell scripts for security reasons. I suspect that you would have to create a custom plugin to wrap around the ffmpeg commands. This may not be as difficult as it first appears. The place to start is to look at
DevelopingPlugins and
EmptyPlugin.
