PublishPlugin does not display numbered lists

When I use a numbered list in a topic like this:

---# test

---## subtest

---# nexttest

---## subnexttest

The resulting static page created by publishplugin is not numbered. Is there anything I can do to tell to publishplugin to number it?

I don't know where that syntax for numbered headings comes from, but I presume it's a plugin. You probably need to enable it during the publishing process.
