WolfgangDenk Would Like to Check-in
Who am I?
I've been hacking Unix systems (kernel, device drivers etc.) for >25 years. For example, I'm the "father" of the U-Boot boot loader that is running in zillions of embedded devices. My experience is with low-level code in embedded systems. I have no clue at all about web design or Foswiki internals etc., though.
What do I want?
write access to
SVN for the following branches:
wikiplugins
What can I do?
We have been using *wiki for some 8+ years for all kind of web based services, including for our web site (denx.de) and (extensively!) for generating technical documentation (see
http://www.denx.de/wiki/DULG/Manual). Over time, we implemented several hacks and extensions to get the things done we wanted to do. At the moment I'm working (as a low prio task) on the conversion of our code to Foswiki. Many of the hacks we did in the old code are not needed any more because Foswiki has much more advanced features than the code we based our stuff on, but here and there I'm running into problems, or I find stuff is still missing. So I fix the issues I'm running in, and add the missing pieces. And I try to push these changes upstream...
At the moment, I have a few patches with bug fixes or extensions to some of the plugins that I would like to see merged into the mainline code.
Why do I want to do it?
I consider myself an addict of Free Software, and always try to return to the community what I have, well knowing that it is just a tiny fraction of what I got.
Other Notes
Topics I have contributed to

I hope you enjoy yourself
