Feature Proposal: Users should be able to change their login name

Motivation

Login name assigned may no longer be appropriate

Description and Documentation

Especially when registering users on behalf of others, e.g. through bulk registration, the login name might not be known.

Also if a backend system (e.g. LDAP) login name changes, there should be a way for the login name to be changed.

There really isn't any proposal here. The developer is no longer active, and this is very old. Changing to a discarded proposal.
